Rampworx ‘Inline Only’ Night

It was a great night last night at Rampworx skatepark seeing only inline skaters come together and have one big session! It has to be one of my favourite events being able to see old and new faces come together and do what we all do best – ROLLERBLADE!

Nice one to everyone that turned up! See you at the next Inline Only event!

DKH Get on Track Wigan

I recently attended the DKH Legacy Trust Regional Get on Track GO event in Manchester, held at the Manchester City football ground.

‘Get on Track’ is a personal development programme that provides young adults with stepping stones into volunteering, work placements and employment opportunities. The young adults are supported through this process by elite sports mentors who, having experienced the highs and lows of world class competition, know what it is like to face adversity and overcome the odds to succeed.

The most recent Get on Track in Wigan has just came to a close and tonight was all about celebrating the young peoples’ success and hearing from the graduates themselves. Of course Dame Kelly was in attendance and gave an extremely inspiring talk to the crowd and we got to hear from the Wigan lead athlete mentors Charlotte Hartley (international hockey) and Neil Danns (former European and British Skateboard Champion) on the success of the programme.

Rihanna at the MEN Arena

Last week I went to see Rihanna at the MEN Arena in Manchester. I absolutely LOVE Rihanna and to see her finally play live was AMAZING! The night was made even better by the fact that I was with my best friend from childhood, Laura, so it was really great to see her, catch up and dance the night away! Rihanna didn’t disappoint (even though she was an hour late on stage!) and I would definitely go and see her again in the future!

Jenny Logue’s visit to the UK

My best friend and sister Jenny Logue recently was over from Australia visiting friends and family so I was thrilled that she decided to come up and stay with me for a few days. We decided to reunite with the legendary Jagger brothers for a meal and a catch up which was awesome as the Jaggers and Jenny played such a huge role in my life growing up and have been massive inspirations to me. And of course we had to get a skate in at Rampworx whilst Jenny was over!
